AO6 Employee Relations Advisor
All Aspects Recruitment & HR Services are currently seeking an AO6 Employee Relations Advisor for a temporary role for approx. 2 months.
- AO6 pay scale
- Brisbane CBD location
The Employee Relations Advisor will provide high-level administrative and data support to the EIR team to manage workload related to employee overpayments and other relevant processes that may arise following investigations.
Duties include:
- Provide support to the EIR team to ensure adequate investigation, coordination and documentation for employee matters arising from the OSL project occur in a timely and accurate manner.
- Activities will include investigating, preparing accurate correspondence, coordination with relevant stakeholders, reporting, tracking and monitoring activities relating to recovery of overpayment.
- Collect, validate, and produce accurate employee communication, defensible under union scrutiny and other disputation that may arise.
- Build, maintain and update relevant trackers, reports, recommendations and draft correspondence including correspondence sent out and returned; this will require the application of judgement on matters to be escalated immediately and that gives rise to reputational and financial risk.
- Prepare regular reports and updates for the Director, A/Assistant Commissioner and senior stakeholders, including the status and progress of employee matters.
- Coordinate inputs across multiple stakeholders, including requesting information, following up outstanding actions, and consolidating responses.
- Maintain documentation, decision logs, action registers, timelines and risk/issue logs in line with agreed governance.
- Support preparation of briefing materials, meeting papers, presentations and correspondence relating to the OSL project. Assist with project planning activities, including tracking milestones, dependencies and deliverables.
- Ensure confidentiality, privacy and information security requirements are adhered to when handling sensitive workforce and HR data.
Requirements
- Have demonstrated experience contributing to high volumes of complex work to a high standard.
- Experience in an industrial relations, employee relations or complex case management environment.
- Have advanced experience with Microsoft Suite of products.
- Have strong ability to collect, analyse and synthesize information, trends, output and return correspondence from multiple sources with high attention to detail.
- Have experience preparing accurate and defensible employee correspondence, summaries, reports and executive briefing notes.
- The ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders and coordinate inputs across multiple work areas.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Have sound judgement, professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information.
